Pong is Thai, from the Akha ethnic minority.
Since 2008, he works for a french- speaking company and travels throughout Northern Thailand with Europeans, Japaneese, Chineese, and travelers fom Quebec. He speaks a very good english and little french. Cheerful and easy of access he quickly wins the friendship and trust of his travelers.
Pong works exclusively in Northern Thailand.
He prefers the roads of the provinces of Chiang Mai,Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Son. He knows
profoundly his region and will be happy to drive you on roads who usually remains unknown by tourists. Pong accompanies couples, families and groups of friends.
His journeys are made for you.
His goal is to allow you to travel easily in a region where it could be difficult to travel alone. Pong supervises everything and you travel in full security. You will be travelling in a 2011 Toyota minivan which can accomodate nine passengers and their luggage or in a tuk-tuk in the city of Chiang Mai.

After teaching 32 years at the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec and often been on missions in Asia to teach master’s and doctorate degrees, Hervé Dupuis retires and works 12 years as travel guide for Club Aventure Canada in South-East Asia, India and Greece. In Thailand he worked in close collaboration with Pong for 6 years. Now he lives in Chiang Mai with the familly of Pong and help him to develop his own small company.
